Origin 1: Jet Fuel
The Southern California-based brand launched in 2012 and has since won dozens of awards including “Best Sativa Strain” and “Best Indica Strain” at the High Times Cannabis Cup. According to CEO Enas Barkho, Jet Fuel OG "was our first strain under the Jet Fuel brand. Origin 2: 303 Seeds
In this origin story, Jet Fuel OG blasted off in Colorado, where experts at 303 Seeds dusted their Aspen OG females with a male High Country Diesel that was a hybrid of the seed bank’s Original Diesel/East Coast Sour Diesel.
The strain is a true hybrid, indicated by its moderate height and a 9-10-week flowering period. This strain is best grown indoors by moderately experienced growers who know how to cut back her top-heavy fan leaves and work with regular photoperiod cycles.
Jet Fuel OG was reported by The Cannabist to be indica-leaning, often clocking THC percentages in the teens.
With a bouquet of myrcene and caryophyllene — and the lemony smell of limonene — it may seem fitting the strain is also called G6, after the Gulfstream G650 jet, since both claim to offer luxurious effects.
